What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese healing technique developed in 1922 by Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui designed to decrease stress reduction, increase relaxation, and promote holistic health.
It is administered by “palm healing or hands-on-healing” and is based on the concept that unseen life force energy flows through each of us and it is what enables us to be alive.
Through the use of this technique, practitioners transfer universal energy (reiki) in the form of qi (Japanese: ki) through the palms, which they believe allows for self-healing and a state of equilibrium. If one’s life force energy is low, then we are more likely to get sick, feel stressed, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
Reiki healing therapy is extremely beneficial for anyone looking to bring more balance into their life. It reduces stress, promotes healing of emotions we have unknowingly locked within ourselves, and helps to restore self-esteem. This enables one to have more compassion for those around them. It positively impacts how we manage all relationships in our lives. Reiki Level 1 Course (In-Person Training)
This course is designed for those who want to learn Reiki for themselves or become a practitioner. Reiki level 1 is really about healing oneself. Many take this course to learn how to balance and manage their health and help others.
